Corkey has always been willing to please the ladies. He is known for going out of his way to insure their comfort & happiness. He also has an unquenchable taste for the finer things in life. Cuban cigars is one of his major vises (he won’t tell where he gets them from, but rumor has it that he has some rather shady connections). Good wine has of course been at the top of his list of things to enjoy in life. He always keeps a private selection of his favorites on hand. You will also notice if you ever have the opportunity to share a glass of wine with him that what you are drinking is not available at the local liquor stores… hmmm. I'm not saying that it’s an expensive taste… but ahh, you decide.

The bottom line? Corkey knows how to swing. Corkey knows how to rock. However, he doesn’t know everything, so he has asked me to ask everyone to stop asking him all those ridiculous questions. You know, the ones like “Where does the Universe end?” and “How many stars are in the sky?” and “What is the meaning of life?” If he knew all that, he’d be somebody’s guru instead of a guitar player in a rock group. If you want to start an argument with him, just tell him you know the answers to those questions. Then again, if you do know those answers, we’d like to hear from you.

And now Corkey's all growed up. Been here, been there, done this done that... and he still likes it. So… ladies, there’s one thing for sure, this guy is not to be trifled with. He’s got good qualities and good intentions, but when it comes to romance, he’s the guy your mama told you to stay away from. He just doesn’t know how to get serious. He has a lot of experience when it comes to monkeying around, and he likes to play, and it shows in his music. Life taught him how to write, persistence taught him how to deliver and patience taught him how to find the way here.

So where from here? Who knows? One thing is certain, Corkey says that he intends to continue writing, playing and performing until he can’t, and “can’t” is a word he rarely uses. You can be sure that there will be more, and even better music on the way. Stay tuned for the future.

Corkey was born in Blythville, Arkansas. He grew up in Shreveport & Bossier City, Louisiana. When he reached his teens, he began moving back & forth between Louisiana & Southern California. Corkey was not a military brat, but he may as well have been. "Here & there" became a way of life for him. He lived in this place and that place long enough to make close friends, only to have to leave them behind. His guitar and passion for music became his only long lasting close friend and that, he never had to leave behind. Influenced by his exposure to the popular groups of his youth, he one day realized that original material was the only way to true success in pursuit of a musical career. So he began to write... and never looked back... well, only occasionally, to put into melodic prose the memories of friends & romantic encounters he had to part with.
Bad company? Nah… Corkey is a decent person. I suppose along the way he may have rubbed a few people the wrong way, but has never had malicious intentions to do harm to anyone. In fact from what I know of him, Corkey doesn’t have a malicious bone in his body. He’s a very caring and giving person, sometimes too much for his own good. He often puts himself out on a limb for people who wouldn’t think of doing the same for him. “In the end,” he says, everything works out for the best.
