Casey
Casey was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. His mother and father
lived in Texarkana, Texas, but his mother's doctor was in
Shreveport. So when he was due, his mother drove to Shreveport
& OOPS!... a Casey was born.
At the age of four, his family moved to Houston, Texas where he
attended school and grew up learning the ways of the big city. At
age 12, Casey became interested in music (rock & roll mainly).
His mother bought him a Fender Mustang electric guitar and
gave him twelve lessons as a gift. Casey played the strings off
that guitar, day & night, with hopes of mastering that instrument.
Casey played in numerous bands in the Houston area, but there
was something missing that he could not put his finger on....
Then, one of his friends bought a set of drums & all hell
broke loose. Casey played his friends drums more often
than his friend did.
Eventually, Casey convinced his mother to help him
finance a set of drums by working part time at a pizza joint
to help pay the payments. The household was never the
same again. Drums are very loud by themselves.. kind of
like having a 100 watt amp turned up to 10 all the time.
He drove his family (formerly his loved ones), absolutely
crazy, pounding day and night on those skins.
From age fifteen to eighteen he played the
drums for several bands in and around the
Houston area. At one time he sat in at a local
club with a band and was offered to go to
California with that band.  As much as he
wanted to go, the responsibility of marrying his
high school sweetheart held him back. He
continued to play, however he had to shoulder
the responsibilities of marriage. Casey states
that he has no regrets and has always had
music foremost in his mind.
Casey worked for a while in several disappointing non-paying type
jobs, always thinking about music, and always wanting to improve
his quality of life. After a couple of years, he decided to go back to
school. The question was - other than music - what could he do to
be happier and to make a better income for his family. He had
always been fascinated with airplanes, so he decided to learn how
to fly. After years of schooling and near death experiences in small
planes, he landed a job with AMR - American Airlines. He became
a Captain, and eventually became a Check Airman for the FAA
and gave pilots their licenses.
Casey is now single again & lives in the country. And guess what?
He's back on the drums. I asked him, and he told me, "I did the
responsible thing, by working to support a family, but now its time
for me to do what I have always wanted to do - play my drums."
Casey played in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area for a while, but
now he lives in the country outside a small town South of
Shreveport. He says he's p&^*%ed because he can't order pizza
for delivery now, but it's cool. He says the best thing that has
happened recently is that he met up with Paul & Corkey and
formed Spotz. Casey says that he will play and perform from now
on... and this is just the beginning.

PS From Casey:
"Our fans and supporters are our most valuable asset. We want to
give them music and entertainment they can enjoy for a long time."
